The main parking lot at the Anthony Chabot marina entrance handles standard vehicles and smaller buses; larger charter buses coordinate access through the park's group use permit system.
Field trip groups heading to the park benefit from undercarriage bay storage for gear, lunch coolers, and athletic equipment — much cleaner than packing a caravan of parent cars. The East Bay Regional Park District manages group reservations.
